Vancouver Public Library
Today was all about more Vancouver and less rain! We had a great time exploring and put several miles (kilometers?) on our shoes. One of my favorite sights was the architecture of the library and accompanying atrium.

Burrard Bridge
Walking around Vancouver in the rain with no umbrella or rain gear can
be a bit of an adventure, and it's always good to keep an eye out for
covered areas to walk under. Taking a few minutes respite under this
structure, I couldn't help looking up and seeing today's photo op.

Nighthawks
So there we were, walking back to the car after a great dinner at The Trumpeter Public House in Mt. Vernon; I had just shot a great photo for today's post, and we got to the car, when I turned and saw a famous painting across the street. So, suddenly, as often happens in this blogging thing, I had a better and unexpected photo. If you don't know what I'm talking about with today's title, look up "Nighthawks painting".
