We went birding today looking for a Grackle. And it was cool because along with about 20 other species that we identified and added to our life lists, we did see Grackles. A lot of Grackles.
They were specifically of the Great-Tailed Grackle variety.
And it got me to thinking, we are American tourists here, out looking for those birds.
But just think if we were on this same quest for that long-tailed black bird, and we were instead from the U.K?
Might we then be called Grackle Grockles?
