We switched places and moved up the beach about a 1/2 mile from where we were 2 nights ago (at the top of the photo). That place was a bit busy with partiers and people fishing. And when the 5th wheel trailer pulled up just after dark and fired up a really loud generator that was our tipping point.
This place is much quieter, although a man who's been here for a week told us that bridge construction gets pretty noisy so we'll see - we've only been in this location on the weekend when there's no work going on. Tomorrow is Monday so we'll see just how early we get awakened by that!
