We did Alta again today. I even returned my souvenir Snowbird hoody and got myself an Alta one instead. TJ, Cody, Courtney, and anyone else in their late teens or twenties who is reading this - hear me well: Abandon any silly notions you may have of careers or higher education or marriage and family... Find yourself a job at a ski area begin a new life as a ski bum. You'll never regret it. You can always do all that other stuff later.

Alta
Alright so we've been having fun all week so far and yeah this place is fun and snowbird is cool and all that yada yada yada stuff.
But...
Wow. Alta. WOW! OMG! We crossed over to the other side and stepped into a new world today. I recommend you save your money. If you can't save any money, spend money you don't have. Charge it on plastic. Borrow from a friend - anything. Just go experience Alta for yourself. It is truly heaven on earth. Here's a quick shot of one of the forks in the road. Look at the signs - Which way do you think I turned?

The Bunny Slope
Actually it's called Chickadee, but you get the idea. That's where we started out on snowboards today instead of skis. (because we're noobs when it comes to snowboards). But we sort of got the hang of it. At least enough that we're gonna do it again tomorrow. Anyway this is sunset on Chickadee as viewed from our room.

11,000 ft.
Wow. We went from 88 ft. elevation at home two days ago to two miles up at the top of Snowbird today. Feeling a little loopy up here. Or maybe just we're totally digging it. That's Salt Lake City in the background.
