Today a small group of photographers and I went on our Friday Harbor Photowalk. I can't wait to see everyone's photos. This is one I shot of my shadow on the water and it shows a phenomenon I've seen many times but never photographed - the "sun rays" emanating outward from my head. I don't know what causes them but I'm sure it has something to do with science. Be sure to look at the larger version. Anyway I thought it looked cool, so I enhanced it a bit with photoshop. (but not too much - here's the original)
1/25th sec. f/4.5 iso 500
It's cool - you sure it wasn't one of these?
ReplyDeleteGrand day out, it was.
This is really good - wish I could have joined you on the walk.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is cool and I didn't really think about
ReplyDeleteit but next time I'm around water I'll look for it.
That is a very cool shot. It must hae been interesting walking with other people and seeing how they work and what inspires them.
ReplyDeleteSo very impressive!
ReplyDeleteTim,
ReplyDeletenice shot, I ahve never seen this....how did the water get so blue? I know the San Juans and its pretty green water.
and Eric, your link you posted is dead?
What's up with that?
ReplyDeleteTry this one...
Thanks everyone! Lance - I just bumped the blue up a bit in photoshop. And some sharpening and a bit of contrast as well.
ReplyDeleteLove this photo!! What a great idea about the photowalk...I might have to create one of those. :)
