I happened to look out the back window just as the sun was about to set and was impressed with how nice this somewhat ugly plant looked in that last warm light of the day. Most of the year this thing is just ugly green leafy things and even when it blooms in the fall It's nothing special (or at least I never thought so before), but tonight it sure looked nice.

Even flowers need the spotlight shone on them occasionally. This has a great mood.
ReplyDeleteOh Tim, that's a sedum and it's beautiful! I love that plant. And by the way, it's a nice shot!
ReplyDeleteThe light at sunset (and sunrise, too) is absolutely spectacular! :)
ReplyDeleteAutumn sedum... you cracked me up when you called it "an ugly plant". It hits its peak in the autumn when the heads turn pink. We have one in our front yard. Great shot! :)
