Working When I Should be Sleeping

Burning the midnight oil. Burning the candle at both ends. Time to sink or swim. Bit off more than I can chew. It's either feast or famine. When it rains, it pours. I'm up to my ears in projects. A day late and a dollar short. Painted myself into a corner. Trying to keep my head above water. Working hard, or hardly working? Crack the whip. Get this show on the road. Putting my ducks in a row. Snooze you lose. Time's a wastin'. Gotta put my nose to the grindstone. It's back to the salt mines. Get my head in the game. Gotta go the extra mile. It's a labor of love. The hurrier I go, the behinder I get. Someone opened the flood gates. Can you think of any more?

  1. Sounds like you about covered them all! :) I can appreciate, as well!

    1. A wonderful poem by Edna St. Vincent Millay goes:

      I burn my candle at both ends;
      It will not last the night.
      But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends -
      It gives a lovely light.

      Great picture! I like the lighting.

  2. Keep at honey!! You can do it! You can do it!!
