I got a 50mm Prime lens from rentglass.com and thought I'd see how some real narrow D.O.F. compares with real wide D.O.F. The image on the left was shot at f/1.4, the one on the right stopped all the way down to f/16.
1/60th sec. f/1.4 iso 400 and 1/15th sec. f/16 iso 400

ReplyDeleteYou went 7 stops with aperture, but only two stops with shutter speed and kept the iso the same. Did you add more light at f16?
Mmmm no. I'm thinking that was a typo. Must have been a longer exposure than 1/15th.
