Nighthawks

So there we were, walking back to the car after a great dinner at The Trumpeter Public House in Mt. Vernon; I had just shot a great photo for today's post, and we got to the car, when I turned and saw a famous painting across the street. So, suddenly, as often happens in this blogging thing, I had a better and unexpected photo. If you don't know what I'm talking about with today's title, look up "Nighthawks painting".

    I didn't know the painting - looked it up. It' s always fun to learn from my photo friends, whether it is photo tips or otherwise. And nice shot - especially just from an iPhone.

    Interestingly enough this is my favorite photo. I am lucky enough to be learning a lot from your photography style. I like the colors and the lighting, or are those the same thing?
