SWWWEEEETTTT!!! I fact your image even makes it smell good.. Very nicely done TIM!!! YOu captured the lighting, mood, reflexion. Maybe just a slighter crop on the left, bringing the candleholder to the very left edge and top right candlestick to the very right edge?Althought looking at it you have created space of equal distance to all 4 corners.
Beautiful...love this. I agree with Lance about the way it catches several senses and sets a mood. I have to add that I love the color...the dark background contrasting the smoke and glass with the red accents...it's simply captivating!
This is a wonderful photo. It looks like you took some time to think through the layout, line & form.I'm a little thrown by the smoke making that quick turn - is that the real thing?
Thank you everyone! Yes, that's real smoke. I shot about 20 images or so. Had to re-light the one candle about 5 times and then would get about 3 - 4 shots before the smoke was gone. And yeah those 20 (or so) were after I shot several different arrangements before I settled on this one :)
Flat out gorgeous Tim I want to use that image for a Valentine.
Hey, are those candles from Party Light? You might want to do their advertising.
LOL I believe they are Party lights actually... Good idea, I'll give them a call.... :)
Stunning. Absolutely stunning.
