Shannon and I went back to the graveyard tonight, but we didn't see any living gargoyles (or undead gargoyles), or anything at all climbing around on the steeple like I did the other night. Good thing too because we forgot to take the Twinkie along. Anyway, I was able to get a 30 minute exposure of star trails. (At least I think it was 30 minutes... I didn't hear a click when I came back to the camera to close the shutter). Anyway, this is the result of tonight's outing.

>>> Oh and earlier the power was out. I wasn't sure if it would come back on, so I asked Eric to put up a placeholder for me. That's why the post said the Electricity thing earlier...
Sipmly stunning! I can't say anything else, I'm lost fot words.
ReplyDeleteAmazing picture - a really original idea.
ReplyDeleteThanks! And it wasn't scary at all this time!
ReplyDeleteOutstanding!
ReplyDeleteWow - this is amazing! I love the impact of your work on this one!
ReplyDeleteVery neat - you never cease to amaze me with your photographs. Glad the ghouls weren't out tonight.
ReplyDeleteWay cool - multiple layers of interest. Though I can't quite figure out the dark thing on the left - roofline?
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your 4-hour exposure ;)
Thanks everyone!! :)
ReplyDeleteYes, Eric, that's the roof of the church. If you look at the photo from a few nights ago, you'll see it left of the steeple. Both photos were from the same side.
REALLY cool...
