April 16th - Kent Station

Kent StationDowntown Kent sure looks nice down by the train station. I'm working here for a couple days, so I thought I'd go shoot an urban twilight scene. I lived in Kent 10 years ago and it's not changed a whole lot but this place by the train station sure is different from the vacant lots and abandoned buildings that were here before. Makes me want to commute to work on the train. Is this urban revitalization?

  3. Looks like the light is just right - nice capture.

I'm wishing you had a step ladder you could scramble up for a higher vantage point.

  4. The last time I was down at the Kent station I was escorted to the security office. They wanted to know why I was taking pictures....No kidding!!!

  5. Wow - I did feel kinda uneasy shooting in a public place like this. That maybe I looked suspicious or something. But no one bothered me. I was there for about 10 or 15 minutes shooting a few different angles.
