Today Shannon and I walked to the library and back and I shot a fair amount of photos along the way and thought I had something good for the blog. Then when we were heading home I thought maybe I should run down and see what the harbor looked like in the fog, and good thing I did. The other photos were pretty boring so I'm posting this one instead. 1/15th sec. f/3.8
The lines really draw my attention along the horizon, very well done. And love the comp as well, rule of thirds nicely done, top, bottom and sides!!!! The fog give this shot a mystic look and make your audience want to know what is further behind the building.
ReplyDeleteOooh, makes me want to go boating, in something small and right on the water, to explore the peace and quiet in the mist.
ReplyDeleteNice job!
Hey, I thought you couldn't get below f4 something on the last shot. What is the largest f stop available with your lens?
ReplyDeleteAbsolute lowest is f/3.5 but if I zoom at all, that changes. I guess at the zoom level I was at with that other shot, 4.2 was the best I could get. Rethinking that now, I guess I should have done it with no zoom, and the crop with photoshop... live and learn huh?
