Today was sort of an assignment day with the only clue being "A River Runs Through It", so I went out looking for a river. But this is a small little seaside village on a small little island so the best I could do was the drain pipe at the end of Spring Street (which I think if you check the historical register is where the street got it's name - but I'm not sure on that). Anyway, this is my submission for the river thing today. Shutter Speed: 0.7 sec; f/22 iso 200.
"A Spring Runs Through It" should qualify, don't you think? I do. I Like it. Can you play with the saturation a little and boost the green of the moss?

ReplyDeleteIn iPhoto, it says .769321 secs, in Photoshop, it says .8 seconds. I did a few before this one - one at 2 secs and 1.3 sec, but they were overexposed. I wish I could go to iso 100, but I can't - 200 is the lowest I can go. No I didn't PS the water. I did use PS to crop and played with levels just a little.

ReplyDeleteSo, an ND filter would be a good thing to have, eh? Talk to Dad - I know he has a 72mm 3 stop ND. If you have a polarizer that'd be good for ~2 stops.
