March 4th - Something Just Clicked

Epiphany
>>>Edit - I'm re-writing this post; It was originally called "Epiphany", and yes I had one of those today and this photo reminded me of it. Suffice it to say, something just clicked in my head today, and I feel better about some things because of it.
1/500th sec. f/16 iso 400 - Strobe with dispersion grid and gobo, camera left behind subject, and bare strobe directly behind subject) (me)

  1. That's an amazing outline - how many did you have to shoot to get the backlight in just the right spot?

  2. This one was kind of a "mistake" in that the strobe behind me was not quite directly behind me, but I liked the effect. So the mistake ended up being the winner! LOL. (I shot about 20 dialing in exposure and various strobe position angles :) Also, try as I might, I couldn't get the background down enough in my little living room, so I had to darken the bookshelf out with photoshop levels.
